I swear, if the substance of that press conference ends up being "Gonna keep doing what I'm doing, please send money," SOMEBODY in the state or national GOP is going to have to grow a pair and do something about this wacko.

I'm beginning to hope there is a " do-over".

McDaniel will lose votes and Mississippians will have a chance to show him how disgusted we are with his shenanigans!

If I had a nickel for every person who told me they were now sorry they voted for him, I'd have more money than he's been able to raise for his " legal" nightmare team!

Is the fat lady warming up?

They'll announce they are not going to do anything today but in 10 days they'll have a really big announcement!

Is anyone surprised that a trial lawyer is using his legal team to try to steal an election? Maybe McD will actually show up for this press conference. Or will he send the doublemint twins to tell us once again that something really big is coming soon?

3:33 PM "k Capital Resource drones punch your timecards"

You have mentioned Capital Resources more times on this blog that I am beginning to think that you're on their payroll.

I am not the same person who posted about your frequent references to the group yesterday, but like that guy, I had no idea who or what Capital Resources was until you began accusing everyone of being on their payroll and I googled it. Give it a rest.

Anonymous said...

It's okay Chris, you don't have to hold a press conference to announce to everyone that you are a big douche bag and that you lost the runoff. We were all apprised of that development weeks ago.

Yes, you got it right: Tyner and Watson, "The Nightmare Team".

"Fellow Conservatives..... after careful consideration, counsel with family and friends, meeting with my legal counsel, the NRA, Mossy Oak, Pall Mall Cigarettes, Busch Light, the Mississippi Independent Fundamental Baptist Counsel, and Sarah Palin.......... I have decided to concede the election that all 5,000 of my remaining followers have fought so hard to win."

Will Tyner appear along with the Cat, the Rat, and Watson their dog in Confederate reenactment costumes? That would make a special visual.

I hate to break the news to the Capital Resources conspiracy theorist, but I had misgivings about Barbour from the beginning.

He would have had to be saintly to be lobbyist for pay and not have become morally questionable.

What lobbyist doesn't put his client's interest before that of our Nation?

Nevertheless, as a Republican, I voted for him.

His pardons confirmed my worst fears.

I'm not naïve nor do I benefit from anyone's political machinations.

I could not, however, vote for anyone who lies as easily or who so boldly attempts to manipulate the naïve and mentally impaired the way McDaniel has.

It takes a lot to make Barbour look good, but McDaniel and his followers have .

Greed and self-interest is hardly admirable but it's understandable.
Insanity is not.

A rational person cannot possibly understand the absolutely irrational claims made by McDaniel and his supporters.

Chris will not concede the race.
His pride WILL NOT let him but pride goes before the fall and he will continue to carry out his favorite campaign strategy. FIGHT!

I'll go ahead and announce the "major Development": He Lost!

Hoepfully his people will tape their mouths shut. Still makes me laugh.

It seems to me that someone that you people so easily dismiss as being a crackpot or whatever sure can make you wet your panties when he says he is going to hold a press conference.

What is it that makes you so afraid of Chris McDaniel? Maybe that he just might uncover the truth?

The truth is that Mickey d is a trial lawyer that served on the election committee of state senate and apparently does not know the election laws in the state of Mississippi

Before they step out there again, Tyner and Watson need to understand: Jackson is no place for a medicine show. Won't work here.

Nobody's scared at this point, it's just amusing to see this continue. If he had anything, he wouldn't be trying to disqualify Cochran as a candidate with some ridiculous rule. He's getting desperate and trying to keep the ball in the air however he can.

I'm just noting the ones still involved on that side and making a note to remember they're absolutely nuts. It's good to know who's who. Tyner is absolutely shocking. My opinion of him as a professional has done a complete 180; I just assumed he was good because of the name. After reading his work and seeing his involvement- I have no faith in his competence.

Please send mo' money to keep this hilariously futile delusion alive. The comedic relief is excellent therapy.

I love that the press conference states: RepublicanChris McDaniel" so we know the "big development" is just the Rule 11 nonsense. The fact that Chris has refocused his hopeless effort on Rule 11 is a clear indication that he didn't find the "illegal votes" that the last press conference promised he would deliver with 10 days.

Chris it is August. Traditionally, in the great State of Mississippi, if you don't make the stage at Neshoba County fair, you aren't going to make the big show. Go back to JV politics.

Like this: He wants to disenfranchise the votes of what he claims were 40,000. "Liberal Democrats" ie Blacks, for
Voting June 24, this 50 years after Freedom Summer;
He blames every misfortune he has had on code words for his fellow black citizens he never would reach out to ;
He sent people to break in the Hinds County seat of government in the dead of night for God knows what, to start a fire?
And I think he kinda looks like the pictures I've seen at catswholooklikehitler.com

I"m sick and tired of this and am going to settle it once and for all.

Hitler was better looking than McDaniel. He had better hair. He was a better dresser than McDaniel. He told funnier jokes. Hitler could paint an apartment in one afternoon- with two coats. Hitler was a better dancer than McDaniel. He could dance the pants off of McDaniel.

It isn't accurate to compare McDaniel yo hitler or any other historical figure, because McDaniel hasn't achieved anything worth noting. His only contribution to missidsippi politics will be relegated to a passing reference. In future, when someone is hesitant to concede an electio, someone will say "man, I hope he doesn't pull a McDaniel." Way to leave a footprint Chris.

Very very interesting story just hit Drudge. Apparently, there is a chance that Mississippi actually won the Civil War due to a clerical error on the paperwork at Appomattox. Chris McDaniel's law firm will decide sometime in the next 10 days if they are to take it to the circuit court for a ruling.

Anonymous said...

Mississippi is just too small a place to fight the establishment and win (the first time around).

If there were some irregularities and possible illegal negotiators at the surrender, then it is possible that the war was not concluded properly. IMHO there is a distinct chance that the South may yet be declared as the winner.

5:54, I'll go ahead and bite. You are not fooled by Haley Barbour, but can you be specific about where you think McDaniel has lied & manipulated? Judging what McDaniel does, by what a handful of his supporters do, is vastly unfair (especially if McDaniel also calls what they did reprehensible).

Judging McDaniel on his statements or his voting-record, and ditto for Cochran, is what matters, right? What are the absolutely-irrational-claims that you are talking about, exactly?

Anonymous said...

8:32
Irrational to speak of thousands of crossover votes when they were a handful.

Anonymous said...

Question: >>where you think McDaniel has lied & manipulated?

Uh, maybe by claiming there were thousands of illegal voters on day one.

Now, a month later, he has not even named one illegal voter.

He claimed there were serious crimes. So name a name of one person who voted illegally, please. That would get the ball rolling.

So Chrissy will drag all of us with him, like it or not, for a very tedious long time of it. The longer he drags us all on, the more resentment toward him and his diminishing band will build. Where will it all lead? Certainly not in a Senate seat for him. What is it going to be like when we are still hearing about him 3 months from now? Someone is going to scream.

response by 9:16_A >> "Uh, maybe by claiming there were thousands of illegal voters on day one."

Well, technically, as you know team McDaniel has been very careful to only speak of irregularities, even on day one aka 6/25 when they were talking about Hinds, which started at 1000 and went up to 1500 irregularities all told. Perry eventually admitted to 300-some, right? So the true number is in between. Irregularities is a different (broader) category of issues than the strictly ILLEGAL. We don't know the latter, smaller, figure.

But we do have some indications. For instance, TTV incident reports claim there was an absentee-envelope for a voter named Frank Illegible, but no matching absentee-ballot to go with it. That is an irregularity. Maybe the ballot was in the box, and the TTV volunteer missed it. Maybe the ballot was lost. Maybe the ballot was put in another box, like the one to hold affidavit ballots, or the one to hold spoiled ballots, or somesuch. Maybe there was illegal corruption that further investigation would turn up. We cannot know, from the mere fact ALONE that a volunteer found an envelope with no matching ballot, what happened... further digging is needed to see if it was just a goof by somebody, or if it was a clue to some illegal action.

As another example, of an irregularity that is highly suspicious but not in and of itself utterly damning, see the exhibit B that was posted at mcdaniel2014.com as part of their motion-to-reconsider about the pay-for-redaction law in mid-July. There is a list of names, people that voted in the dem-pollbook; three of them are marked down as having voted in the d-primary on 6/3 ... but then those very same three are *crossed* out so that they were marked as NOT having voted in the 6/3 d-primary. Meaning what, exactly? Well, if we are charitable, it could mean that the poll-worker made a goof on 6/3, then noticed their goof, and corrected it on 6/3. Or it could mean that somebody 'legalized' those voters to participate in the 6/24 r-runoff retroactively, by crossing out stuff on 6/24. (Even this could be proper... only digging deeper could rule it out though.)

Anonymous said...

response by 9:16_B >> "So name a name of one person who voted illegally, please." Since I do not have access to any of the pollbooks, I only know what you know. The challenge-lawsuit has not been filed; as I understand it, there will first be an MSGOP-challenge, and they have ten days to mull it over, before a court challenge is permissible by law.

But if you want the name of an "irregularity" who might in fact be illegal, look at the exhibit B that Tyner posted. One of the people in the list, from what I can gather via the internet, was a person who donated to republicans in the past, and works for a trustmark bank subsidiary (if that name does not ring alarm bells then google it with barbour cochran). The person was marked as having voted in the 6/3 d-prime, then crossed out, and then was marked as having voted in the 6/24 "d-runoff" (which presumably was supposed to be the r-runoff). Why was this person marked as voting in a non-existent d-runoff? If they really voted in the r-runoff, instead, then why was the part that marked them as voting in the d-primary on 6/3 crossed out, and who did the crossing-out? These are the questions that worry me; I'll be happy if they turn out to be actual clerical errors, or goofs by volunteer-reviewers, as opposed to evidence of illegal nasty stuff. But I'd like to see the investigation, not sweep such allegations under the rug.

There is no smoking gun here, in my anon-blog-comment, and quite frankly we won't see any count of all the illegal votes until team McDaniel files an actual legal-challenge-lawsuit. Even then, we won't have a proven&confirmed count, until team Cochran and the various county clerks & pollworkers have given statements, and the judge has ruled on a final number of illegal ballots, a final number of questionable ones, and so on.

McDaniel has not revealed "even one" name of an illegal crossover vote, because he does not want to try the challenge-lawsuit in the media aka court of public opinion, and because he does not actually want to make trouble for the people who did illegally double-vote; the adverts from Bishop Crudup (and others if memory serves) were encouraging "all registered voters" to come out on 6/24, without mentioning the illegality of voting on 6/24 if you had already voted on 6/3 in another party's primary, so it is an excellent bet that most of the illegal-double-voters did not know they were doing anything bad. That doesn't make their votes valid, of course, but it does make sense not to drag names through the mud, when just quietly invalidating the individual votes is all that is necessary, right? In any case, enough partial evidence has been posted, that if you look on the internet for it, you can find some names. I did it, and nothing stops you. But remember, the people named in docs uploaded to the internet are innocent until proven guilty, and prolly don't want their names dragged out here on kingfisher's JJ blog, eh? Hence, I name nobody here, just point you where you can find them immediately if you so desire. Or just wait, until the evidence-packet is public.

p.s. If you are just complaining, why hasn't McDaniel filed yet, all I can say is be patient. You've seen what a hassle it is to get full access to courthouse materials, in some of the counties, due to byzantine conflicting statutes, and paper-based stuff. Time will tell.

6:20 aka Zapped, you are incorrect, KF is fair to all ideologies here.

That said, if you are trying to post something, and it is not going through, maybe you are violating some forum-rule with your content? Kingfish has "a line" about posting links to offsite documents, that have already be uploaded to THIS blog, for instance. There are also some decency-related (aka slander-and-libel-avoiding) rules for content. You can email kingfisher to figure out the reason you are not getting through the moderation queue, or just look over what you are posting, per the pointers above.

As to the populace here, I will point out, the different blogsites tend to self-define. Most of the people posting at DHM are anti-tea and pro-Childers, because the blog-author is. Most of the people posting at yallPol are anti-McDaniel and pro-Cochran, because the blog-author(s) is/are. Kingfish, by contrast, is not significantly biased against McDaniel, or for Cochran; the tilt of the commentary here, is primarily due to the nasty streak that being "anonymous" brings out in some people, and the snowball effect (pro-Cochran commentary attracts more pro-Cochran readers over time... and nasty anti-McDaniel commentary drives away the pro-McDaniel readers). But neutral folks like John Pittman Hey comment here just fine, and so do pro-McDaniel folks. Don't blame the blog-owner, in this case.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.
